  12. You should carefully read the following terms and conditions
  13. before using this software.

  15. Shareware Version

  17. You are hereby licensed to:  use the Shareware Version of the
  18. software for a 21 day evaluation period; make as many copies of
  19. the Shareware version of this software and documentation as you
  20. wish; give exact copies of the original Shareware version to
  21. anyone; and distribute the Shareware version of the software and
  22. documentation in its unmodified form via electronic means.  There
  23. is no charge for any of the above.

  25. You are specifically prohibited from charging, or requesting
  26. donations, for any such copies, however made; and from
  27. distributing the software and/or documentation with other products
  28. (commercial or otherwise) without prior written permission, with
  29. one exception:  Disk Vendors approved by the Association of
  30. Shareware Professionals are permitted to redistribute SC-Scripter,
  31. subject to the conditions in this license, without specific
  32. written permission.

  34. Unregistered use of SC-Scripter after the 21-day evaluation period is
  35. in violation of federal copyright laws.

  37. Evaluation and Registration

  39. This is not free software.  This license allows you to use this
  40. software for evaluation purposes without charge for a period of 21
  41. days.  If you use this software after the 21 day evaluation period
  42. a registration fee of $39 is required.  Payments must be in US
  43. dollars drawn on a US bank, and should be sent to SplitCycle Computing,
  44. 13102 Rivergate Lane, Jacksonville, FL 32223.  Credit card ordering and
  45. quantity discounts are available, as described in the section
  46. Ordering Information/Order Form.  When payment is received you
  47. will be sent a registered copy of the latest version of SC-Scripter.

  49. One registered copy of SC-Scripter may either be used by a single
  50. person who uses the software personally on one or more computers,
  51. or installed on a single workstation used nonsimultaneously by
  52. multiple people, but not both.

  54. You may access the registered version of SC-Scripter through
  55. a network, provided that you have obtained individual licenses
  56. for the software covering all workstations that will access
  57. the software through the network.

  59. Governing Law

  61. This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida.

  63. Disclaimer of Warranty

  65. THIS SOFTWARE AND THE ACCOMPANYING FILES ARE SOLD "AS IS" AND
  66. WITHOUT WARRANTIES AS TO PERFORMANCE OF MERCHANTABILITY OR ANY
  67. OTHER WARRANTIES WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.  Because of the
  68. various hardware and software environments into which SC-Scripter
  69. may be put, NO WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE IS
  70. OFFERED.

  72. Good data processing procedure dictates that any program be
  73. thoroughly tested with non-critical data before relying on it.
  74. The user must assume the entire risk of using the program.  ANY
  75. LIABILITY OF THE SELLER WILL BE LIMITED EXCLUSIVELY TO PRODUCT
  76. REPLACEMENT OR REFUND OF PURCHASE PRICE.
